Hey I sent in my 360 for replacement after it got the three red ring
error. The one I got back has a different serial number and says it
has a memory card, despite no such card being plugged in.
Is this an error or is the memory internal? Also is it typical to get
back a different console, or do most people get their old, repaired
one back?
Thanks

The new arcade models have a memory card built in them now as
standard. You must of been given one of these.

Yes, it is very common to get a totally different console. It seems you got
an Arcade unit that has internal memory which also means you got the Jasper
MOBO which have the smallest CPU and GPU and will run much cooler; lucky you
if this is the case.

They sent my old one back. But now the goddamn thing scratches disks if you
even bump the thing slightly.
So they either replaced the drive with a broken one or broke it themselves.

Cool. I would've preferred the thing not to break but at least I got
what'll hopefully be a
more reliable system.
