$5? What, does it only have a couple hours of play or something?
Either Bioware is giving us a late christmas gift, or there must not
be very much content in this add-on.

The game was pulled from Marketplace. Maybe the 400 was an accident.

According to BioWare, a bug is the culprit.

And I want my money back until they get it released correctly.. They still
have it listed on their site as available, with no mention otherwise. This
has been going on since the Jan 5. release date when I purchased points from
them. They don't respond to emails like they did when I just had a general
technical question.

You think that's bad, check out EA's complete lack of response
regarding the Mercenaries 2 EA Store freezing the game
debacle........people have been posting on their forum for a couple
months now about this, yet nothing has been done.

I already wrote them twice now. I don't mind spending the money and I
understand that it isn't refundable. But I wasn't able to make the purchase
despite the fact that it is still listed as available. I don't spend on a
"possible" future purchases buying point. They got my money, I have no
product. I told them I would taker this up with my credit card company if
they don't respond by the end of the week.

I hope you get a response out of them- it seems that EA is taking a
holiday from "customer service" this winter. Maybe the number of
layoffs in the company is adversely affecting their ability to
respond; nonetheless, that's no excuse for just taking your money and
not giving you what you paid for. This is why I'm so wary of DLC; it
just seems so, well, ephemeral, and easy to screw the consumer over
with.

I got a response and it was a totally nonsensical, here's what it states,
"We have checked your account detail and found that the purchase which you
made is still Open. Unless and until it is not closed we are unable to
refund back to you. I would request you to please wait for 24 to 48 hours,
as the purchase is closed we will refund it." OK, it is still open, but the
caveat to a correction is until is is "not" closed, isn't that opposite of
"Open"?. Purposefully wording it as to make a "catch 22" situation, os the
rep screwed up their wording. I am not the only one to be honest, the
EA/Dragon Age forums are rife with those being in the same situation as I
am. What's really sad is, that the DA web site still list the DLC, with the
price and as being available. They are not listing as what it is in its
current status, which is not available.

This is unacceptable behaviour. I used to think the EA hate was due
to a surplus of leftover Sega fanboyism, and to some extent it was.
But it's becoming clear that despite any strides they may have made in
improving their overall game portfolio quality, they seem to be going
backwards as far as customer service. Looks like Bobby Kotick's
financial success has emboldened them to tell the consumer to f@$@#
off.

Looks like Bobby Kotick's
financial success has emboldened them to tell the consumer to f@$@#
off.

Which is, of course, the goal.

Looking at the assembly code produced by the compiler usually gives you
a pretty good idea.
